And the Oscar goes to ... What better way to honor Hollywood's brightest stars and most accomplished artists than to celebrate the glamorous Academy Awards with a small dinner party! We wanted to create a festive atmosphere with our Oscar tablescape and serve certain dishes to our guests that pay homage to Wolfgang Puck who has been THE caterer for the renowned Academy Award Governor's Ball since 1994. Specifically, we served our version of Wolfgang Puck's Smoked Salmon on Oscar Flatbread with Caviar and Crème Fraiche and Mini Cheeseburger with Remoulade and Aged Cheddar.
To make this an even more authentic Oscar celebration atmosphere, we served the same wine's and champagne that are actually served at the Governor's Ball. For champagne it was Moet Imperial, a Moet and Chandon Champagne and the specials wines produced by Sterling for a previous Academy Award Governor's Ball were paired at our dinner.
We love the thrill of Oscar Night ...all of the beautiful dresses both at the Academy Awards and on our guests. We can't wait until next year!
